Height 8.5″ (22cm), diameter of widest point is 4″ (10.5cm). Small hairlines on the bottom but not through. Small spot on the scholar’s left had has lost glaze.

Originally acquired by a San Francisco Asian art collector in the early 1990’s from Butterfield and Butterfield Auctioneers (prior to getting acquired by Bonhams).
